EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I've been warned about those hatchery chickens from there, thankfully. :clap

Mine don't go quiet...but a couple of the bigger guineas appear to have been employed by the hens to crack me across the legs in an effort to knock me down. They take a run and fly out of the fence for their own safety.

The hens have appointed an OEGB hen as their representative and every morning she's the first hen behind the first wave of chickens...and you can hear her spouting out complaints as she come running out! She's usually waving a new paper of their demands EVERY MORNING! View attachment 1141006:th
Just drag out the bbq. Place it by the the coop for a couple hours. Also place a bottle of BBQ sauce on top of it.
:thumbsup

It did! (How did you know)
What should I put on the smelly spot; baking soda, corn starch or coffee grounds.
Was thinking baking soda followed by coffee grounds???

Or maybe cat litter???
This is what I've been told works.
I've never tried it
Skunk smell remover

1 quart hydrogen peroxide

1/4 cup baking soda

1 teaspoon dish soap

Thank you...another option. :clap Thank you.
Glad you got the skunk
Glad I got "a" skunk. ;)
Not sure it's the right one and we all know it won't be the only/last one. He'is a big skunk I'm to understand.

The MO of a skunk...did you tell me they take off their heads? I took graphic pictures of the kill zone. Just terrible.:( The predator bit them along their necks like a vampire...two teeth...and their necks were swollen and red. Feathers were messed and gone from their necks. My white Silkie's head was gone. No marks on the bodies that I could see.
