Mel just responded to a PM I sent her this morning. She's still having a tough time of it, pain-wise, & they have her on steroids. Going for a consultation on Monday for a spinal cord stimulator. I'm not sure what that is; maybe one of you nurse-types does.
She misses you all, and she'll get back when the meds don't have her whacked out. She's thankful for & appreciative of all the prayers & good wishes.

I NEED HELP
this is my 2nd and last attempt to incubate, I just candled 9 eggs I have 3 maybes (too dark to Tell) and 1 yes but and there always seems to be a but, it is day 5 and there is only 1/4 of the egg with the chick in it .
Is this right?its a EE.

Dax the spring is supposed to be inside. The door will pull off the oven in the partially open state. At that point there should be a way to replace the spring. Google the model and serial number it should help with diagram

Don't bother candling before day 7.
This is duck eggs, but it's close enough.
