EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

No pictures. Pretty much the same as Kristen put up; built from same plans, and I picked her brain a lot. Main difference is that I used PVC pipe instead of metal conduit for the bowed top, 'cause I screwed up when trying to bend the conduit....not that easy if you've never done it before.
Yeah, that conduitt sounded hard that's why I never did it.

Have to admit I've got a thing for mares... Geldings are nice too but all of my very favourites have been girls.
Personally, I prefer geldings I just happen to have mares at the moment and I am trying to decide if I'm going to keep Grace for Lucy. I do not ride enough to justify three horses. I simply can't afford them all. My goal is to get down to one so I have to choose which of the two mares would be my choice if I was only to keep one of them, then after I start Levi this year I will decide which of the two of them. This is Lucy.

It is so difficult to compare a finished horse to an unfinished horse. Grace is finished well gated with no issues except for the fact that she doesn't want to be your buddy. She'll do everything you ask, but she's not going to meet you at the fence and be your buddy. She just tolerates being loved on. Lucy on the other hand is unfinished and while she is demonstrating good gait she still has that way to go and a learning curve because she has not been ridden enough. I am unsure of what she would be like in condition and experienced, on the other hand she will winnie to you and likes attention. She is 3 years younger than Grace with a bit better loin connection in her back for long-term consideration.

Wow...that's a nice cage!!
I thought so when I saw them. They were going to throw these three sided cage like things away that were blue and I bet he's one that had four sides. It needed different work so I gave it to a friend to make a Coke crate for her goats. And I took the blue one. For $60 worth of welding some support and the welded wire that I'm going to put around it it is a great deal and very solid.
The things some people throw away

I grew up in Laramie WY. My aunt was Jubaliee day queen and my uncle paid his way through college by “renting” out Rick, his amazing horse. He and my aunt taught me riding. I miss the West!! The East Coast has riding but it’s not quite the same as riding in the Rockies!

And the seramas that will tell soon, 3 have a light silver color, one has a reddish with black and is already standing like a serama lol. And the newest has a darker color with some light.
