she's never been on a leash
but i do plan on going back out tonight and pointing her at different things to see if she finds anything

she wasnt trained too but she is from working dog lines

A neighbor farmer took 3/4 his swine stock to auction 6 mo's ago. Lost his rear end on the stock but helped him by not dumping more money into them with continued high feed costs. That's why we breed and stock in intervals.
Market prices are rock bottom compared to operation costs.
No money to made at the auctions unless you are the Auction company.

I only sell the leftover bucklings that won't make breeding stock at auction except for the odd late kid.

I have people who don't like my $2.40 a pound for a half a steer on hanging weight. I tell them to go to Walmart and pay ten plus for nasty steaks I don't care. I am not making anything as it is, just hay money for my mamma cow. to them

I have goats but their are lots of lambs there to lot of people around. Yeah, like Farmer Connie said we're dying here because the price we get versus the cost of raising them is pathetic and a loss for the small herdsmen. That is why they drive from the East coast to get a load and make money back east. I am in the wrong business with them. But they will be $3-5 a pound come February.

If the ground is moist enough to leave prints, see if you can determine if there was more than one.
