Smoky day here. Humidity in the teens. Supposed to get windy again. Weather is cooler though.

Sorry I disappeared after posting about cats yesterday but things got really busy here just after that post.

the air is difficult for me to breath. We don’t have bad smoke but bad enough

Two more squirrels yesterday bringing total to 14

One dead Altsterier rooster. My lead guy. Kinda bummed.

Oh, for Sally's incubator, the fan died during it's second use. She called Brinsea, they sent replacement fan. Duck eggs are in it at the moment. Hughsnet is coming out today to install GEN5 equipment, so maybe her internet will get better.

The bucks got in with the girls, so the vet was out Monday to give all the girls Lutalyse. Now breeding will begin with the next cycle.

Those bucks get pretty determined no matter what the fencing don't they. My eight-month-old got out and bred the wrong doe, but it does not really matter so I just left it. I was going to breed his cousin to that doe but since she is my only part it will be okay with him.

I went out to check the setting on the deer feeder & swap out the SD card on the trailcam, in the rain.

Yes, they are determined. Added hose clamps, that should help. Didn't want mid Feb kids or to deal with DNA tests in the spring.
