Yes! This one wants ten dollars to take it. The other pays me. But I think I know who else to call.

The 1st one wants you to pay him so he can sell it?! Of all the gall! Don't neither of those options make any sense to me.

We had an old man in WI who came around in his old truck, cut up our old boat trailer with an angle grinder, & hauled it off to the recycle place to sell it. And, like I told you, a guy here hauled off 2 loads for me, and did the same thing.

Place an ad on craigslist in the FREE catagory. Your phone will ring too much. that's how we cleaned the barn without a dumpster.

Yep, that'll work, too, maybe. There are guys with a phone ap that alerts them whenever anything's listed for free. I moved half a dozen old aquariums that way.

Also - my teenager admitted to stepping on the chicken my daughter is trying to save, so I assume it's back is broken. Dad's mad that he didn't tell us from the beginning, because he would have probably euthanized the chicken to begin with, instead of trying to make the poor bird suffer with a broken back or whatever internally is wrong with it. It's still not up and moving.

We are going to give the bird the weekend to see if it can recover enough to stand up and then after that, put the poor thing out of it's misery. (In reality, I think my husband's just tired of cleaning the poor bird up because it sits in it's own poop in the brooder right now and he's tired of wiping it's bottom - the things he does to make my 6 year old happy!)
