I smoked about 26 pounds of turkey breast the other week. So no waiting here.

12 AM. Note the "AM" part.Sorry, but in my book 12:08 Am is last night......

The more I watch "Father Knows Best" and even "Hazel", the more I understand today's society. What awful parenting!! No wonder my husband acts like he does!
Hey there! No good stories, this page just moves so very, very fast.....
But I do want advice.....After 8 years or so of owning chickens, I think I now have more rats than I do chickens. Found out the entire neighborhood is overloaded with these critters. We've been having fun pinging them with pellet guns. We have the water bucket traps. Snap traps. They are reproducing faster than we can dispatch them. Our local animal shelter traps or takes in feral cats, spays and neuters them, then they adopt them out as barn cats. I'm thinking of picking up a few. They have the feral cats living out at the shelter with farm animals, living in the barn with the chickens. I know my indoor only cat will bolt outside if you aren't careful and will head over to the coops and will snag a rat - that I have to kill. So, I'm hoping any barn cat I adopt will also be interested in taking out some of these. Does anyone else have barn cats? If so, how much do I feed them? If I feed them the same way I feed my indoor cats - will they hunt the rats? Anyone have downsides to having barn cats? By the way, I don't have a barn, we are going to set them up in my basement.

Those were television shows, not parenting guides!
There are a couple cats that live outside here that help with the rodent population. I don't fee them very much, I want them to hunt. Winter give them a little more. They haven't bothered the chickens or chicks, even when they have gotten locked in the coop over night, they can't wait for me to open that door in the morning.
When is morning, then?12 am is not considered "Morning" in polite and civilized areas of the world.
I to had a sudden death, my polish hen was fine when I tucked them in. By AM, passed.
Either she iz broody in the bushes or skull and cross bones.. I searched.. not within the range of VIP population. She is big as a turkey.
When is morning, then?
After a period of sleep, so if you are still awake from Yesterday, it does not count... If she went to bed at 3pm and woke up after Midnight we could consider it Morning..
If you live in the VWN and spend every night until 3am partaking in adult vices, it is still night.... Note even night until 3am... Morning would be short and start around 11am for said VWNer...
Also Morning implies the sun is coming up or about too.
