@MotorcycleChick I have missed you lately. I hope we connect soon. Where are the duckling stories about the leaves? By the way how are her hatchlings?

She hasn't had much time to play in the leaves. They keep blowing away.
Blaze died a few days ago for an unknown reason. Might have caught a chill. Still have a pair.

The local Rural King had chicks two weeks ago. I guess I'm getting sex links this weekend. Not crazy about it, but it is what it is. No hens (Darla's bantam egg isn't enough) means no eggs. Can't have that!

I managed to track down the breeder of the doe with the missing papers. First the dam is Copper Hill top and bottom.
She is sending me the parents papers, and a breeding affidavit so I can try to get her registered!
Bloodlines I am searching for and the possibility of registration. That is so great. It makes up for still being at work going on 13 hours.

Why?

Incubating eggs in the middle of winter in climates that cold, then keeping them in the house 'til they're feathered enough to be outside. Then having to integrate them. Not my idea of fun. Now, if you have a broody hen you can rely on.......
