@Sally Sunshine told me I was being summoned...So here I am Dealing with Dr's and lawyers and insurance companies... OH MY!!!!! major medication changes and workmans comp tying everything up in court. Ohio Nationals this weekend. I sat and clerked at our Michigan show and was in tears after 5 or so hours. Got steroids from the Dr which helped last time. Getting birds ready for the cold. Bill is busting his rear to keep us afloat and that's about it. (Yesterday was my "official" termination day from my hospital system since it's been a year-I was very sad ) I will be honest-I just flew past the last 200 or so comments. Sorry for those with losses and bad news, yay for babies, chicks and good news and reading too fast on meds is not good because somehow I thought @daxigait lost @Chaos18 because he didn't like @MotorcycleChick anymore so @Sally Sunshine was hunting for him but he had on an orange vest!!!! I miss you all and want to thank you for all the well wishes and prayers Much Love, Mel

You might have, I'm new to this particular subject. I only know something was in it as I was getting ready to toss the eggs that had not piped. Its the last one though and the rest are hatched.

Thank you for taking the time and making love painful effort to update us. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
As if the pain was not enough you have the pain in the backside of lawyers and insurance companies too, not to mention the loss of a job you probably enjoy it and the income from it. I would not have handled that with grace. I often contemplate how I would feel with a sudden accident that changed my entire world.

I can't stand their noise, no matter how beautiful thy are.
I will give it to my freind Lidor, that gave me the fertile eggs in the first place. I have some good freinds that are very good breeders, and when I need some fertile eggs, I get them from them, keep the pullets and return or sell the cockerels.

I needed it for my husband, and for his great aunt.

From where it came?

Husband got it from the hospital during a back surgery. His great aunt got it when a doctor cleaned her ears out, and she began to bleed. She got it again from a hospital stay.

It should be packed in liquid Nitrogen, ice isn't enough (at least with the vaccine that we have.)

Our vaccine comes in two parts, a dry life virus part and a "diluter/activator" It needs to be below 40 degrees is all. I cannot imagine our post office being able to handle liquid nitrogen. The vaccine when mixed is good for an hour only.

It is 1000 doses but there is no way I can give 1000 shots in an hour so, I throw most away.

Good morning everyone!
25*F when I got up, a balmy 28*F now.
I think I have the fence fixed now, so that Clover is unable to crawl through now. I don't mind her around the chickens and the bucks, it's just that once she is in there she is essentially free by crawling under a fence and I live on a state route that can be busy at times.
