EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

My dishwasher has been working OK for the past 20 yrs.

As newlyweds, one of our 1st silly disagreements was over how to load the dishwasher. I wanted to strategically pack it to fit max dishes but DH would leave dirty items in the sink because he felt they would not get clean. He ended the argument by agreeing to clean up after dinner EVERY NIGHT if I allowed him to take over the dishwasher. HMMMM .... OK! I help his ego by regularly reminding him that he is the ultimate king & champ of loading the dishwasher and praise his awesome dish-washing skills. The remaining dirty dishes sitting in the sink still bother me & DH often waits more than 24 hrs before actually washing the pots & pans. (He claims they need to soak, but then forgets about them.) The system's not perfect, but so much better than arguing about it.

Of course, I'm also very grateful that we never had anything major to argue about.
I find the dishwasher is like a puzzle. I don't want anything touching, but I want to strategically get as many dishes in while still maintaining maximum washing capability.

I have it down to a science. The guys can never understand my strategy.
They place them in and I redo it later. :gig....:th

X2! It drives me nuts when anyone else loads the dishwasher. They just can't understand where everything goes and why. I anyways rearrange them when hubby loads it too lol

I find I have to check them after the WWD does them She does not understand the importance of no dish ever touching another one,

If I did that I'd spend all day loading and unloading the dishwasher due to large quantities of dishes. They get clean anyway.

Mo, they don't that is the point to no two dishes ever touching.....Also the WWD seems to not realize the importance of turning the water heater up to 140 degrees before doing dishes. The reason we have a on-demand heater is so we get the temps we need for each job and do not have to settle for whatever the temp is...(and it saves money)
