Sizzler is off my radar forever.....

The situation I mentioned was in 1983 I believe? I know for a fact that the owner of that Sizzler closed in 1986....

That's tough.. She sounds like she had a long good life, if that helps any..

I get weepy feeling when I hear about a pet having to be put down. My labs are 10 and 13 so everyday is a gift with them..

Thanks Ralphie. Pets are so wonderful...but it's so hard when they get to the end. We've seen her sleeping more and more this fall. She's been quite the battleaxe...lol. She was a cat that wouldn't take guff from no one and nothing...lol. We have 3 more daughters that are one year younger than her to go.

Dh just got home in a rush. Things took longer making a statement and such and he had the tractor. He just stopped as I was answering you guys and asked how I made out.
We just discussed how old our dog is. I think he's 13 or 14...our son remembers what grade he showed up. Because he met the school bus that night.

I agree...when they get up in years one just never knows. Every day IS a gift with them.

Hello! Should I clean my eggs? They are shipped and I am having them rest before I put them in. And also, when I turn the eggs manually, I usually lay them on their sides, but this time Im doing it vertically up and down with the air cell on top. How can I turn them this way? Do I tilt side to side. Also an odd number so its different every night. ??? And the air cells are different sizes in different eggs but I only have one incubator right now. Still air little giant. Should it be at 101 degrees???/

Good luck.. I always stand mine up.. Just put a piece of wood under one side and move the wood from one side to the other side of the tray/carton that is all you need to turn them..

They do not need to actually turn 180 degrees.

Oh my gosh! Thank you SO SO much for helping me!!!! Thanks! thx thx thx! So why don't they need turned 180 degrees each turning time!? Oh my goodness. Also, do you have any advice on how to disinfect them. I'm not quite sure what to do or use. I used dawn soap on foam incubator several weeks ago.. getting prepared to get my eggs.
