Some here think I go overboard..BUT I do not want germs inside my incubator, that is a sterile area.
I rinse them in 120 water..and get the gunk off, You do not kill the eggs until they reach an internal temp of 117. so you have time for a good rinse...
Then I dunk them in 120 water with one ounce of chlorine bleach to one gallon of water...
Then I rinse and dunk in another clean water bleach mixture..... and let them dry.
They are only turned so the 'fetus" does not stick in one place or to the shell, I have a larger cabinet incubator,,or two,,,,,or.... and they only turn about 45 degrees each way....
