Some here think I go overboard..BUT I do not want germs inside my incubator, that is a sterile area.

I rinse them in 120 water..and get the gunk off, You do not kill the eggs until they reach an internal temp of 117. so you have time for a good rinse...

Then I dunk them in 120 water with one ounce of chlorine bleach to one gallon of water...

Then I rinse and dunk in another clean water bleach mixture..... and let them dry.

They are only turned so the 'fetus" does not stick in one place or to the shell, I have a larger cabinet incubator,,or two,,,,,or.... and they only turn about 45 degrees each way....

Hello everyone! Had a few lazy days, migraines do that to me. Yuck!
But I’m off the couch and thought I’d let everyone know about the little tolbunt with the bad leg and lump in neck.

I stayed up with her some last night. She was failing. It was time. We've had her so long. I hate having to put pets down. But I prefer that to her suffering. We got her when the boy was 3-4.

yep.. that is so they do not sit over night on the same side two nights in a row.

Yep, that will work. Also, Ralphi is a germ-a-phobe, I never wash my eggs unless they are heavily soiled and they hatch fine!
