I forgot to open the hatch on the egg house this morning. I wasn't very popular with the egg makers.
They will get over it I suppose.

One old man Buff Orpinton Roo. He is a gentle giant. Doesn't mate with the ladies. Lost his desire. Some of the alpha hens are plucking his tail feathers lately.. They use to be long as a whip. I think he is 7 y/o..
The 20 or so pullets just introduced a couple days ago won't leave the house. They are freaking out. 70+ birds roost in there on multi levels. Eggs are the only revenue coming in from the birds right now.
I took vids of the breeder houses too. Gunna get DH to compile them into one. Also some of the F-rangers and the freezer flock.

Moved 7 birds to camp fridge today. Sorted 10 others. Trying to get numbers down.

They all know me there and my chickens. They will be checking my boots at the door.
