Anyone want a huge picture of a rooster on their wall? Anyone want to pay that much for it?!
We already have a pic of a large rooster on our wall.
IMG_3687.JPG

DD won 1st place for this, so of course we must hang it. The only cost was the $10 for the frame from a thrift shop. We threw out the former painting in order to get the frame. DD found everything else in the backyard.

I love when customers message me before buying, because then they learn that if they're willing to wait 13 more days they will get a lower price and the benefit of US flat-rate shipping. It also tells me that they bothered reading the listing and my store page which clearly says that US/International customers should message me first so I can work with them to get the best price possible.

So to the two people from the US and Canada who ordered, sorry but you should have read better. Now you have to pay the ridiculous shipping from the EU to North America and you have to pay the Belgium prices which are $0.75 USD more expensive. If you'd have messaged me and waited I'd have given you cheaper lump sums for the amounts you're buying and you'd also get $6 USD flat-rate shipping. Sorry, not sorry.

This reminds me of a time we had a similar situation while we were selling Items on Ebay.
My Father was going to auctions and buying Estate Lots. Boxes and boxes of old stuff. Most was crap ready for the dumpster but their were hidden treasures mixed in as well. Our gig was selling the cool stuff for a small cut of the action.

I forget the Country of the purchaser. I believe somewhere in Asia. I just remember that the BUYER chose the CHEAPEST Shipping Charge we had offered on the list of many choices.
If they would have READ THE DETAILS OF THAT FREIGHT, they would have seen that Estimated Delivery Time was 25-30 Days.

12 days after we shipped, WE got a bad rating from the customer and a long summary of his complaint how he paid us for an Item and never received it. Warning other buyers to steer clear of us because we were a scam. Also he got his money back from PAY PAL because he contacted them. Pay Pal took the money out of our account a few days later.
28 days after we sent it, the package arrived safe and sound in his illiterate hands. He kept the Item for free, we ate the shipping fee. And still had points taking off our perfect record and never any apology or anything.
Needless to say, we stopped selling International.

But eventually dealing with people who are TOO LAZY TO READ details on items, sucked the life out of us.

We would list an item..
Glass vase, tiny chip on rim.
After the buyer got it shipped to them, an email would arrive. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! THERE IS A CHIP ON THE VASE!..
We had over 100 listings on ebay.. Eventually we yanked them all off. Took all the items to auction.
AND CLOSED OUR CHECKING ACCOUNT LINKED TO PAYPAL before anymore buyers WHO CAN'T READ demanded a refund.

That problem still exists today when we sell animals on the web.

Almost ready to give up on the general population.

DH says, "Dig a really deep hole, put a closed door in front of it. Put a sign on the door saying.. caution do not enter. 3 days later dig another hole, because that one is going to be full."

Most of my customers are great, but with others it's like DUDE READ THE LISTING. I'm still pissed that I had to take a hit to my perfect rating because one German girl was pissed that her bars were 70 grams instead of 100 grams even though I clearly state "all bars are hand-cut so weight variations are to be expected". I swear she only did it because I reminded her that Etsy's ToS requires reading all FAQs and shop policies before purchase and I didn't give her free crap.

I have tried 3 times to catch up so I would not be so out of it, but it uses up all my time. I give up. Hello everyone!
@hippiestink Even though I have not checked in, I prayed for you and your baby. I hope you are doing well.
Can anyone tell me what post to see?

Which is why all my “good stuff” goes to goodwill or the dump whichever is easiest at the time. Just not worth people coming around

@Farmer Connie Hi, I saw you posting on the herd site. I have dominant meanies at feed time too. I even have a doeling with a hurt leg from essentially getting body slammed into the side of the building.
I get the same stuff from Craigslist. Questions that I clearly answered if they had just read, or even looked at the pictures!
