With your kind of weather, the OUTDOOR birds are in a much worse situation then the refrigerated ones! I think that they enter your fridge to get worm!

They would be warmer in the freezer, actually.

Why not both! That fertile egg was great on butter and toast. Eat some eggs, hatch some chicks, more eggs to eat, more a couple more hatch, soon I’ll be fat and sassy and up to my knees in chickens!
