EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Meanwhile, the other day I had a little disagreement with this buck about whose driveway this was, mine or his. He was disinclined to move (until I had my SUV about 5 feet from him, then he calmly sauntered off...).

Wow, that's amazing. Never gotten closer to any of the ones here than a full camera zoom away.

This is one of two things... really..

The buck has rabies and you should not approach him or

You smell like a doe in heat....In which case approach him at will....but don't be surprised by what happens next....

Whatever you do....Do not turn your back on him...if you are going to try and escape the inevitable from the Rabies or your odor, back away from him! Get inside something and call 911...

Also turn your phone video cam on....I really want to hear and see how the responding officer react to you when you tell them all this....

Remember, I am your friend, looking out for your safety at all times....

They are semi tame here as well. Although if you’re going to get a picture like that the camera has to be ready. The shot with the deer and his tongue out actually had two bucks same size and in the next shot he was gone.

What’s a good camera to get for pictures I’m tired of iPhone shots. Do any of old film lenses exchange with the new cameras?

:idunno I am extremely technology challenged. I just point the camera at something and click the button. I'll find a link to the one I have.

Sounds great, except for one itty bitty problem; don't have but one (possibly two) pullet, and I need her to replace a hen that's not laying like she used to.
Better stop at a Rural King on the way then.
