That's really something Benny. Are all chickens that valuable there or just certain breeds?Deal is done. 5 hens gone 200$ came.
You can buy some commercial hybrid layer or Cornish x chick for 1$ but the rare breeds ,( which every one of them entered illegally to Israel by very brave and dedicated friends) can fetch high prices. Especially in F1 generation. That's really something Benny. Are all chickens that valuable there or just certain breeds?

I have a 7 month Silver laced Barnevelder cockerel, that I know for a fact that I can sell to a certain person (that have 7 hens from the breed )for almost 300$, but I will not, because my good freinds is the single source of that breed, that have sold some chicks but didn't made his total profit. and I don't want to encourage his competition. The couple that have brought to Israel the first HRIR have made , an estimate of almost 80,000$ of them in 5 years.
So you can understand why I am salivating when I see all the abounds of breed that you have there? Just imagine what a high quality of Legbar or Ecsxhecker Leghorns or whillsumer, or Wyandotte ect ect can do here!
Holy TOLEDO
So it is illegal to own these breeds or just illegal to import them? Can you get in trouble for having them?So you can understand why I am salivating when I see all the abounds of breed that you have there? It is illegal to import them even if the breeder have all the certification of this world (there is a legal way a ton of red tape and a 100% negative answer in the end, it is controlled by the farmer union and you don't have a chance )WHILE the government import between 100 to 150 milions egg every year from Spain, Turkey and Ukraine, which sometimes are infected with Salmonella and other sh_ _ ! So we say to the government the "letter between E and G" word and bring what we can.So it is illegal to own these breeds or just illegal to import them? Can you get in trouble for having them?
Lol. . black market chickens. Who'd a thunk it.
I wish I could my friend, really! but It isn't so simple.Your Legbar eggs are in the mail!!
