Ok, so sledding and barbed wire, pe-dash, a lot of weather talk, red bananas, mean goats and goat talk, more weather talk, a vicious fish, lost winter apparel, some acknowledgement and trash talking about curling, and hockey. I did a quick skim to catch up. Hoping I didn't miss anything...although I'm sure I missed stuff before Christmas. I missed a bunch there.

This is my favorite piece of winter gear. Last seen about three weeks ago. Duckling hasn’t seen it (I checked her toy boxes and bedroom anyway), so I’m at a loss. I ordered something similar (but a LOT cheaper) to replace it. Gotta love Carhartt!!
I’ve been wearing a coat on occasion, but sometimes just a sweatshirt and jeans or sweats. The thickest “insulated” socks haven’t been enough for my feet. My toes burn almost as soon as I step outside. I have gloves, but most times one or both has to be removed because it got wet, or the run door is being a pain.
Of course, I’ve been pretty sick, and the cold has been hurting my lungs. Duckling was only allowed outside one time while I was doing the coop stuff. She didn’t argue about going back inside.

Coats are more effective when you actually wear them, silly. Ain't no wonder you've been sick. You know better than that.

Amnesty! I was skimming while talking on the phone, not really paying attention. They were your posts anyway!

Sweatshirts work just as well. They cover the same amount of skin, and those parts of my body weren’t cold. Not even the parts that would hurt.
Besides, I at least wasn’t going down to the coops in my usual attire.
