EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Sure is. Rains a double edge sword after fires there.
Sunday we were watching the early news and they were saying that California is not eligible for FEMA funds because it's not declared a disaster such as hurricanes and earthquakes. As well as being so late in the year when all of the FEMA funds are gone from other disasters earlier in the year. I think there is a senator that is trying to change that right now. We didn't get to watch the entire segment we just happened to be walking through the room when the TV was on. I don't think that's very fair. Billions of dollars alone on just fighting the fire. On top of all the All the destruction. It's been a crazy year or was rather... 2017.
Our fire season starts here coming up when the winds come. Now that we've have are freezes, everything is dry and brown. Our national forest has burned several times. As well as rural areas hit and miss. A lot of our fires are contributed to arson versus lightning. We sort of go through the same thing but on a much smaller scale. - w/o the mudslide problem. so when I see it on the news what is happening over there, I can kind of relate to it. I feel for you guys.

I don't know what news you were watching, but FEMA funds were authorized for California fires.

October, 2017: https://yubanet.com/california/fema...stance-grants-for-seven-california-wildfires/

January 2018: https://www.dailynews.com/2018/01/0...r-disaster-declaration-move-frees-up-funding/

"Fake news" to coin a phrase. :lau

it was on a early Sunday news program not the local news or the national. you know like Dateline or one of those documentary shows sort of like Meet the Press but without politics.
Like I said we didn't get a chance to watch the whole entire thing, we were just walking through the room and caught a glimpse of part of the segment. I do remember vividly it was about a senator or a representative which was trying to change the way the funds were handled or reserved, because of being so late in the year when the funds are drained.
Later when we came back in they were talking about how the Pentagon hasn't been audited in 21 years even though they are required to be. That's when we came back in for breakfast.

I am spending so much time this morning correcting my autocorrect. This is the new tablet I got in December. I have not shut off the autocorrect yet. I am doing it right now it is starting to :barnieme..:smack
