We thought of it. I was going to try and make my own but I evidently tossed the old fishing pole. I'll find something else to make one with if she doesn't get her butt out today.

Dowel rod? Does your horse buddy have an old lunge whip?...be perfect. Cut the braided "whip" part off & tape the coat hanger to the remaining stick part. Should extend your reach 4-5' or more.

I'll have to ask her. I probably have something I could use in the basement... but I can't be bothered to get off my rear and check. Too cold.
