Got our meat back from our processor yesterday. Took the new stuff out for a test drive. No complaints.

Good morning Farmer. Got more grain Wednesday as well.

season. We consistently bring home boat loads. Another load this afternoon.
Glad your eggs made it there intact. I've had bad experiences with mail order. Happy to hear positive experiences can occur. Is this cold snap effecting your neck of the woods?:pop

I hope you leave a bread crumb trail to find you're way back-:fl

I've been distracted. Should I make it a point to post a tid-bit here and there? I'll make a mental note on my agenda.
Shalom Benny. I hope you are well.:frow
I kind of like a last minute brooder set up. I'm not superstitious but, it seems like I have higher hatch rates when I'm scrambling to accommodate a rapid hatch. Having the brooder ready a week in advance is like putting the cart in front of the horse. Jinxing my hatches by over confidence that I am needing that giant pool size brooded v.s. a smaller tub, because unforeseen events during the final stages of development during absorption may come into play.
Don't count your eggs before they hatch.. w/my expectations anymore. Some of my best batches were from the results last minute prep.
:D

As I read this this morning I had to do a double take.. "Some are obviously pullet eggs"..lol.
If I had a Rooster that laid eggs, I could be doing the entire Talk Show circuit right now.:gig
I know what you meant, but at first it caught me off guard & I had to read it again. I wish you much success on your yield! COME ON PULLETS:fl

Thanks a lot Mikie! 5:00 am this morning it was 29*F! Major frost blanket. Winter wonderland in Florida on March 8th. It is now 7:50 am and only 31*.. I did my chores and dashed back indoors.:rant

My ground was covered again, 25*F.
