EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Unless she goes into ketosis I'm just going to leave her be I just am not comfortable with it. I think I may give her some dexamethasone though the couple of days before she's due since I'm really sure she's carrying multiples. The last two years she had triplets and quads.
Quads must be so fragile and tiny..

One inch of rain in last 12 hours. More coming. Quickly learning what needs to be regrading.

 Chicken eggs for the Cinco de Mayo hatch along (if there is one this year) won’t be set for more than three weeks. I thought it would be cool if the babies had the same birthday as the parents. So I was going to wait.
Well........
Starla only began laying a few weeks ago at ten months. I don’t want to wait for new pullets to lay next year. So I’d better incubate now. :D Makes sense to me!!

I don't know I've never had quads. I just got her this last fall. My friend cozycreekranch big Newby in breeder just had quad she said they were only 2 lb each that's scary. They seem to be doing okay, but she pulls all of her kids and bottle raises them and she keeps them inside and playpens when they're real little and then moves into a pan with a little older ones who the ones that are staying and not sold. Her quote is nothing sucks here. It works for CAE prevention and it also preserves her letters because she shows and Nationals and she's really not interested in having the kids nurse on the dams.

Her cluck changing? How?
So how did Jace do with winter once it fully arrived?
How's your new Coop and good?
Oh, you know, the broody gutteral sound. Kind of like burrr-UCK.
She got to come inside whenever it went below zero F. Which was lots. She's in the basement right now, actually.
The new coop is working great. What does good mean?
