Constable came out, took pictures of the dogs being loose, again, and said he's going to talk to the people about it and he wants this taken care of, because the dogs weren't "friendly" when he tried to knock on their door and they were free in the road.

Sounds like you may be lucky enough to have someone in an official capacity who actually cares.

I really hope this works out for you. Different people where I live. They know if their dogs are loose they will be shot. It’s happened many times by my neighbors. So when I actually found the owners of two very nice but wary big dogs they were thankful. I guess the dogs are little Houdini’s and keeping them coralled is a major effort. Haven’t seen them since.

These people legitimately, do not seem to care. It's really baffling.

Our justice of the peace who'd be ruling on the case locally, is also our mail lady and is quite familiar with this pack of dogs. I doubt she's going to rule in their favor. She's trying to look into a dangerous dog citation to get them into court over it, to keep our family out of it. I don't think they'll pay up if we take them to court for 400ish dollars in lost birds (a rough estimate.)

Good morning Mike yes it’s a happy Saturday. Got the tree cleared with the neighbor last night. Well at least the big stuff. So the task today will be easier. It was a little dark when we finished.

Yes unfortunately. Sometimes I grade it sometimes not. Another friend is going to bring me in some 3/4 crushed gravel soon. I usually pull it all back up from the bottom. 3” of rain in 3 days will do that.

Can you get asphalt millings there? I've recently seen them for sale here. Never have used them myself, but I wouldn't think they'd wash after they're packed down by your vehicles & the hot sun works on them

I’ll ask neighbor he’s into this kind of stuff. It would be good to have something more stable there. Hard to walk around those washouts.

Even harder to keep the front end aligned if you happen to drop a wheel into them too often

BBL..gonna move some drywall out of the way so I can set up my incubator in that room again, should I get lucky enough to find some BCM eggs before I find a Cochin hen to set them.
