Afternoon everyone. Today is looking up to be an abysmal hatch day.Only one birchen hatched during the night, and I'm not seeing any others even pipped. No CCLs pipped, no OEs, no BCL. Today is day 21. Using four different incubators, one was an auto-turner the rest were by hand. Feeling in the dumps. I've got over 100 eggs with only 15 of our own custom EE's to show for.

I’ve felt that way all weekend. Yesterday was just too cold and windy to do anything other than have to stuff. Still battling a cold as well.I got stuff accomplished today, but feel like nothing was done.

Turns out two boys were loose. They walked down to the coop with me a bit ago. It shocked me a little. If you recall, it was the flock suddenly refusing to go back into the coop that cost me 13 hens and two roosters last year.
Well that certainly makes the decision harder.
