EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Hi everyone! I'm trying to sort through which eggs to put in the bator and which seem like they'll be problematic. I've got an otherwise beautiful local cream legbar egg, but it has some discoloring on the pointed end -- it almost looks like a water line, as if it was slightly damp or oily up to a certain level. It doesn't feel oily or damp, and it's not cracked in any way. It's just . . . a bit darker.

Thoughts on what this is? Is it still safe to put in the incubator?
Are all her eggs like it? I had a hen that laid eggs with the same series of spots all the time, and one like that one.

It’s fine. It’s just how it got colored as it was forming.

Too many of them were voice typed while I'm dropping and hooking trailers or walking in and out of a shipper. So I can talk, but I don't have time to type. Because I'm generally in a hurry due to time issues, I don't proofread. If I waited to proofread them I be too far behind the conversation. At least that's the way it used to be, not anymore.
