EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I am so glad my house sits up on a hill, and my property has decent drainage. The neighbors have a swamp when it rains even a little. Driveway and grass.
We are also on a hill so just runoff to worry about. All of the properties drain down to the last guy who has a very large pond when it’s raining. His house is fine though.

I’ve been wondering the same. :lau
Well the rain has started. Now they are saying 2 to 5 inches.
Power supply to incubator at day 18 was bumped off for quite awhile yesterday. Not much hope at this time but I’ve got it back up and running.
Happens to me a bunch of times over the years and they still seem to hatch just fine :fl

It may be trying to even out the cooler eggs temperature giving a false reading. But I’d sure watch it.
You may be correct, though they had been in 4 hours when I noticed (is that enough time to get to temp?) Either way, my new thermometer didn't get here today like they said it would, so still using an assortment of crappier ones. :tongue Hope your rain ends up being just enough and no more, though knowing mother nature...:smack
