My first ones have turned into bullies. I love them but sometimes I wonder why..
All of my first generation is gone though. A little of 2nd generation. Mostly 3rd & 4th. When I visit neighboring farms who bought kids from us I think sometimes.. "I should have kept her", but my herd is at max capacity.
Would be easier breeding and selling for me if I would just stop thinking the are so darn cute!
Going to see another young Buckling this evening. I hope the photos are current like they said they were. I get so disappointed when I get hyped up about bringing one home, only to be disappointed by the buyers fibbing on the telephone.

The quail are growing up quite quickly. Oh, and the broody has two chicks... I suspect the 3rd is DIS.

I candled my 8 eggs in the bator last night. I only saw veining on one egg, but it's only day 4 so maybe I'll see more developing later in the week. I am kinda hoping for a small hatch anyway cause I really wasn't supposed to be getting any more chickens...but you know how it is.
The broody's eggs are a day ahead of the bator but I haven't got up the courage to try candling her eggs! I'll probably just candle hers around day 10 and then toss clears. Hope everyone is having a good week.
