I’m guessing eight cockerels. Not yet, I have had an incredibly tough year financially so I haven't been willing to take the risk of a move. Besides, the last job offer I got locally l(ast week) they wanted someone to work 6 days a week 6 to 6 that's 72 hours a week. Are they smoking something?@daxigait did you ever get a better job? Remember you were looking for something where they respected you better.

Thanks for asking.
I respect your mindset. If you feel that the chick isn’t just resting, go ahead, and s-l-o-w-l-y assist. Stop if you see blood. What if you’ve had drawdown, no internal pip, no chirping, and the breathing movement has reaaaaally slowed down (like, was glaringly obvious before but now is barely perceptible)? I’m worried about this particular one because the other egg of this breed in my last hatch made it this far, and then failed before pipping. If I can help it I want to.

I wouldn’t say that if you hadn’t added about the last-minute losses.
