EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Funny story to share for anyone who is having a bad day. This should cheer you up.
We taught our local box thieves a lesson..
Our neighbors are having a problem with someone taking their UPS packages from being dropped by their gate. We got the idea from youtube. Been watching interesting videos on this new problem we are faced with in our new and more convenient world we live in today.
Lots of people are buying exploding boxes to prank these low life people whom pray upon people not home to receive their packages. But one video in particular caught our attention. So we duplicated her method twice and the packages were taken off within a half hour or placing the bait.
DH filled up to cardboard boxes with dog crap, pig crap and chicken crap. And placed a note in each box that states "WE HAVE YOU ON CAMERA STEALING OUR CRAP". YOU LICENSE PLATE IS BEING REPORTED TO THE SHERIFF". "THE CONTENTS OF THIS BOX IS LIKE A MIRROR, LOOK INTO THE MIRROR, SEE YOURSELF?".

Did I mention my hubby is a nut? But I love him. We had to lock the dogs in the house to get them to stop and take the bait. The dogs barking kept them driving up and down the road several times before they stopped. A blue honda and a red toyota. Both women.
They were really have them on camera but we are not reporting them. All they stole was fecal. Just wanted to send a message. Haven't seen those cars in a few days now. Maybe scared the crap out of them?

edited for grammar.. again

Hello! I hope it is okay to ask this here. I have shipped eggs to pick up from the post office today, but the rest of the eggs haven’t even shipped yet. I have never hatched before, and I was hoping for some advice on staggered hatching?
Most people would advise against staggered hatching. It can be more challenging due to the humidity required at the different stages. The fact that you have shipped eggs will make this even more challenging.

But, as someone who stagger hatches everything I set...it is possible. I stagger hatch on specific dates to keep things straight, otherwise it makes things to confusing.

I will always set eggs every Monday or every Friday; whatever day works best for you. And then I don't deviate from that for the rest of the year. That way eggs are always one week or two weeks apart.

I also mark each week of eggs with a different color marker. That helps to visually separate each week of eggs. :) I hand turn all my eggs.
