What happened to the chickens? I hope not another bear.

Florida Keys house?
Wouldn't that be nice? No we're buying a 42 acre farm house fixer-upper about 3 miles away
@kwhites634 I just have a question for you given your old job. I absolutely hate weed eaters because they never stay running, but if you had to get one which type would you get?
i love my red max, cold blooded to start but runs great and will cut anything
hi!!!!!! Hope you have been well and enjoying life as much as you can :hugs

It's not every day you find one of these nasty customers under your raised coop first thing in the morning. Good thing I spotted it; chickens ain't real bright, & Mr./Mrs. Snapper might have been really hungry. I know it didn't take kindly to being relocated with a steel rake.

Here's what I do when I get bored

That's the splitter under the cover. Next to it is the top of a pile that needs to be split. Next is what's left of a cord or more from our most recent efforts, & the ATV/cart I use to move the split wood to the stack. Not sure how many cords are already stacked...maybe 4; hard to gauge since it's like the story of the 3 little bears...some too short, some too long, & some just right. I didn't cut the majority of it, but I stacked every stick of it. Fun, fun, fun! :he

When we were out at the lake, Deb went to pick up some food and she said there was a huge snapping turtle in the road. She slowed down to get a pic and the thing sprung at the car. Didn't know those things can leap.

Oh, yeah. Not very far or high, but they can. I've only seen it a couple times.
