EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

And the ducks have become escape artists. I let them free range once last week, and they have suddenly become able to get through the fencing that has successfully held them for three months.
Nothing tastes quite as good as FREEDOM. Maybe I should give them more credit. Naw. :lau
No rain here plenty of clouds though.
I think I’m going to opt for a simple leanto for the chicken coop rather than all that work of the free one.

Yeah my last free coop turned out to be way more work..... of course it was almost rotted away when we got it but looks pretty good now after a few mods.

This free one isn’t put together yet. All the pieces are free, except roofing, and would make a rather grand coop. Just not sure I’m up to building it. It is however a good fit to the rest of the free fencing I got from the same guy last year. So garden/coop would be good to have. Yes I’m still trying to talk myself into it. :lau
Good job on the retro!

But if you don't use it, it'll just sit there, waiting for your DW to tell you to do something with it. And if Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

There ya go! Looks better than an old lean-to, anyway
It sure will. The pickup of said coops parts has been delayed till Tuesday as the forklift driver is taking a class tomorrow to stay qualified as an operator. Fits my neighbors schedule better anyways. It’s really not a fork lift but it will do what we need and then some.

That's cheating. You're 'sposed to work alone, figure out how to get it all assembled with only one pair of hands, and throw your back out so you can almost walk.
