EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

This storm is so bad that I had to unplug every appliance but the stove and refrigerator. It wasn’t worth trying to pull them away from the wall.
The power was coming on and going off so fast that I worried it would start a fire. The power has been out completely for about 20 minutes.
Now I’m worried about the broody duck in the open. Then again, she has a brain. She can run for cover or not.

see that little canoe of yours going across screen think it’s a bug and slap....yes phones ok. Thanks.

She'll probably just sit tight. Like water off a duck's back.
Power cycling quickly won't likely start a fire, but the surges can fry electronic circuitry.

Very little interest. Some were out of the country. I'm planning on getting a website later this year. I'm not marketing aggressively till the bulk of the birds adhere to the Spanish standard and most eggs are reliably dark reddish maroon.

Maybe it's my imagination, or perhaps I'm just noticing it more due to your involvement with the Pend.....(however you spell that :idunno) breed, but it seems to me I'm seeing noticeably more BYC members raising them than even a year ago.
