I have built part of four different coops this summer. I have noticed the chickens don’t care if they are “finished” or not. They start useing them as soon as they get a roof and roosts. Even found one Rooster living under a upside down wheelbarrow!!! Obviously he couldn’t stand living with his brothers.

I’ll at least have to get the fencing done. To many critters like chicken here.

Most of our tomatoes here in the Texas stores come from Mexico. When I’m in Brownsville, I’m always amazed how many trucks there are bringing fresh produce north

As close to the border as Brownsville is, I'll bet produce isn't all they're bringing north.

Yes, always makes me a little nervous to go pick up equipment from down there. ( not knowing what might have been built in to the crane the night before) Thankfully the dogs have always ignored my loads.

Mixed brush goats, I’m not sure what’s in most of them other than about 50-75% Boer. We have 22 at the moment.

I haven't ended up with anything mis-marked yet, but some of the stories I hear on here are incredible. Turkeys as Leghorns? How can anyone be that dumb?

Heck I bought two calls ducks from a breeder.... She told me they were both drakes..... They both quack. .... Rather loudly.

I know I have read that the average fresh produce in America gets shipped 1200 miles farm to table.

I know that they aren't growing oranges any where near here..... So yup I can believe it.

Yes that’s always good. We have to many chickens to notice if one came up missing. But I think we have been lucky so far with the lack of predators. Almost everyone on our street has a free rangeing flock (and a rifle or two, or......)
