EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Silence! That means you get to hear more dog stories!! :D
We went outside “for just a minute” after I cleaned up some mouse droppings in the living room. :sick I needed to finish cleaning up, and didn’t need any pup accidents while I was busy!
It’s pitch black out, and I didn’t bring a flashlight (I didn’t even think about skunks until now). He got caught on a sapling. I don’t know for how long, it was too dark for me to even know he’d gotten stuck until he didn’t come when I called him. I unwrapped him (as he began winding himself back up), and headed for the house. With the porch light, I could just make out him rolling in something. Unfortunately, it was poop. :sick So in we went for his first bath in a bathtub. It seems that I have put all of the dog shampoos away somewhere, and I couldn’t find them. Fine, baby 2-in-1 it is. The gremlin seems to have reproduced, because everywhere I look, there’s another blur racing past.

Never let a dog run loose dragging a rope unless it's a stiff one, like a lariat, if you're familiar. Too easy for a soft, flexible rope to get tangled & do just what Maaco would've done if you hadn't been right there.
