Hey everybody, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year. Busy as usual here. Fired up the incubators last week to stabilize and started the first load of eggs on Saturday. Had a sort of great Christmas. It was great as in my family was all together here and healthy. Not so great was my lil Jerzi Girl went in for emergency surgery on Christmas. She shredded a dog toy and proceeded to eat it. Well it wouldn’t come out either end so they had to open her up and get it done quickly. Anyway, she spent 4 days under vet care before we brought her back home. She is doing well now and just had her stitches taken out today. Here we are the day after Christmas when I went to visit her.

:hugs I am glad it ended up okay!! I spent Thanksgiving at the vet saying goodbye to my dog in ‘09 because of a blockage the vet swore wasn’t there until it killed him. Over $4,000 to try to save him! :th
 I spent Christmas two years ago at the vet because the next dog (9 pounds) got into a fight with his <100 pound cousin!
I hope this dog stays out of trouble!

You can understand this... I think. I freak out every time I see tractor trailers involved in a huge accident. Especially when there are unidentifiable bodies due to a fire. I spent hours crying myself to sleep last night worrying about my husband (it was too late at night to call. He shuts off his phone overnight).
And yes, I worry about you too.
Well thank you, so far this winter has been very mild just made for good driving.

I'm glad she's recovering ok.

SHALOM MIKE!
Welcome back.
