I definitely prefer snow in most cases. It’s not having a running snowblower that’s the issue. I also lost my plow guy. He was the only one I know about.

That's a shame. I have a snowblower that runs just fine, just needs a set of shear pins & a leaking gas tank repaired/replaced. Only leaks when it sets with fuel in the tank. If I hadn't told my buddy he could have it, it'd be yours.

I just came in from all day feeding and bedding ordeal, started around 6am. Getting plus’d up before this front gets here with more rain and snow. Fed extra bales, bedded livestock and hogs, topped off self feeders, checked waterers, etc. should make my outside time minimal the next 2 days. Just checks and minimal chores. Getting ready to transfer another 12 dozen or so quail eggs into a cabinet to start their journey.

Well, I left the house about 6am this morning to go run through animals, feed some cubes and see how everyone was making out. Windchills below zero, heavy ice, very windy and a few inches of snow with light snow coming down. It amazes me at the people in little cars out in the country that can’t drive in this. Utterly irritates me to no end. Camaros and like out in BFE trying to get around. I did stop and pull out a grand am and a 2wd Chevy truck. The girl in the grand am was on her walk of shame after a night out. LMAO

Plus side is I’m gonna be able to move a bunch of round bales later and not make a bunch of ruts.

You ever had to buy tires or chains for your tractor? I'm having a terrible time finding either for my compact/utility Kubota

I work at t tire shop and a while back we had a guy looking for a front tire for his kubota.... turns out they used a non-standard size that was only available through them and they told the guy that if he changed the tire size it would mess up the differential because it was a four wheel drive.... so expensive tire only available through kubota. I am unsure on chains....ok so I lurk often just dont respond much
