What does everyone do for humidity in home-built cabinet incubators?

Water pan in front of the heat element and fan. I have a piece of .125 aluminum sheet across the top of my pan that I adjust the surface area with for incubating and hatching. Although I typically don’t hatch in cabinets.

Well a little update on the cabinet with the blown motor. Got the replacement motor in it and eggs back to incubating. I did take the humidity up to hatch level even though I had 3 racks of eggs not ready for that and placed 1 rack of quail eggs ready to lockdown in it. Yesterday had a pile of pips. When I was out there this morning, had a pile of chicks. LOL. Moved a bunch to the brooder and bunch more coming.

The bowls or whatever people use for water and lot of people set up to so they can fill it without having open incubator but those first Pages have tons of information.

I just cleared these 30 or so out and probably another 30 to go on this rack. Cleared 50-60 first thing this morning.
