EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

so how are you doing with all the weather?
I’m cold!!!! I actually have to put on clothes to go to the coop, and I don’t like it!!
Ha ha! It’s a mixed blessing to be honest. I’m looking forward to a 45* night, opening a bale of straw inside the tent, and camping out with Duckling. :lau I won’t have a sore back, and the straw will keep us warm. Of course, having to get it all out will be a little work, but the experience will be worth it.

And now they are shopping. :yesss:
I’ve cut all parts for the door frames to fronts of coop. Heading back out to put them together. Changing the design of coop for better access.
I'm glad your coop is coming along you'll have to post more pictures. I am currently working on my kid room and it's functional at the moment but it needs interior walls in insulation I ran out of time and money. I'm going to do the walls and insulation in case I decide to use it as my milk room when I don't have kids in it. IMG_20190303_174804382.jpg

were the two walls connect so far the underneath the wood that piece of tin opens up but eventually I want to make kind of a doggy door so I can go in and out to their covered run area as long as I have it unlatched depends on the weather. I may eventually make that sun panel a window like I did on my sunroom for the adult goats but for now it's fixed. IMG_20190303_174637414.jpg

Here’s a couple. There’s two sides like this one. The wire is now on and the pop door is in not automatic yet
