Oh my goodness, the pullets are so sweet, I’m just dying! The BR ran right up to me, so I offered some treats. The other four were all over that! Unfortunately, it was too big. So I walked down to the quail where I keep tiny stuff. They followed right along. They were jumping on my feet, trying to get my attention when they didn’t see anymore.
Unfortunately, my SLW hen is feeling like she’s being replaced or something. She pushed and pecked the chicks away. I walked her and the others back to their treats. It worked for a minute anyway. The pullets just kept following me while I worked. One even came after me when I was near the house... and dog. He’s unpredictable especially around the babies.

The quail are going to be a challenge. They keep popping out of the pen. I have to keep scooting and tossing them back in as I give water, or take their feeder.

@daxigait I lost the quote, but my survivability is looking great with the kits. I lost two. One had a deformity and the other failed to thrive and refused hand feeding. I'm out of the danger zone at this point and I don't have to hand feed anymore. The 13 surviving kits are thriving on Bonnie's milk alone. She's turning out to be a fantastic mother.

I'll get new pics of the kits up tomorrow. The oldest are so big.

I am glad things are going well I'm sorry I haven't been around. I got out to the Barnyard yesterday to find one of my kids screaming and it has been a fight including 1:30 in the morning at the vet last night and feeding every hour or so with a syringe, and I just left the vet again all weekend I'm exhausted beyond belief in my alarm goes off to start work in 5 and 1/2 hours and I'm not even home yet.. sorry for the gripe session I'm glad you have kids doing well hope you post some pictures soon.

I am glad things are going well I'm sorry I haven't been around. I'm not really sure I took a perfectly healthy Doling Thursday to have her dis bed and get her vaccinations and she was screaming Saturday morning like when they get into Euro toxemia but I'm not sure if she didn't have some sort of encephalitis type of reaction. All I know is she screaming all day yesterday wasn't eating almost died last night barely breathing we did inter Venus stuff it's been a fight all day I'm doing a final check here on the dough that's do please Lord not tonight I can't deal with anymore and then I'm going to bed talk to you tomorrow
