Hubby and son got the lawns mowed today?! I went to the cemetery to place flowers and pin wheels. Going to rain a bit tommorow, but a lot right on Memorial Day..glad I got there today. O Then on through the week. Lawn will be ready to be mowed again by next weekend. It is growing like a weed with all of this rain...well..the weeds are having a hay day too.

Rain?! You wanna talk about rain?!
It was bedtime for LO, and I checked the forecast. 20- 30% chance of rain from 2-4. I got her in her pajamas, and said we were camping out. She’s gotten pretty good at setting up the tent!
The top is all mesh, and I said we’d leave off the rain fly so we could see the stars later. She said we should maybe put it on so the dog didn’t get confused by nature, and pee on us.
It began sprinkling as we were getting into bed. Then a little harder, so I ran out to lock up the coop, and get the dog.
Then IT came!! Thunder, lightning and wind so strong, I had to replace two stakes!!
Thank you, faulty weather forecast.

Oh no! Sounds a bit like we get it here at times. Fast. The wind here..oh boy. We get microbursts that are unreal. Smaller tent? Did it stay put?

Yes, and we are wondering if they will be wrong about the prediction for tonight. Nice day, supposed to get a thunderstorm .. it's just past midnight. Guess I'll see if our wind comes along and whips up a storm. . We will get it tomorrow.
