Hey y’all. thought y’all would get a kick out of Gertrude. I picked her up at the sale barn last month, so everything about her is a mystery. I do know she’s full of kids and miserable.

EE, Welsummer, RSL, BR, and a SLW are twenty weeks. The first began last Monday, the second began Saturday. I’m guessing all will be laying by the end of this week.
Anyone want to take a guess of their own?

Can someone tell me if this chick is a lost cause? He had pasty butt and I soaked it with a warm wet paper towel. I got it mostly clean and then he started passing backed up waste, like crazy, which worried me because of the volume. But once he was done I noticed what appears to be intestines hanging from the vent. Everything I see with a prolapsed vent looks much less serious that this, or maybe I am just freaking out. I swear this last hatch nothing has gone right.
