EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I have 2 baby chickens that hatched yesterday. Both are so matted down they cant move their wings. What should I do? Also I saw one move and a bunch of yellow substance came out from the back side of it. Any ideas??
I wish I could help, but I'll just have to message a few people. it is too bad it's not a couple of years ago when this thread was always busy there was nothing to get over a thousand posts a day. I think it had something to do with the humidity, but I don't know enough and I certainly don't know what to do with them now.

@Pensmaster I hope you are well. How crazy is your area with this virus stupidity? I hope your hatching is been going well. can you help with the question up above?
Hatching was very good. Moved some birds around tonight so that I can move the last 40 out of the brooder into a bigger coop. Then I’m done for a couple months. I have the Pita Pintas which should start laying in three months so maybe spring to hatch some of theirs. The BCM hatched at 50% which for shipped eggs did the average.
Sorry to hear about your HRIR. Have you tried incubating or have you lost your rooster as well.
I have survived the virus so far. Construction is usually the first to be hit when things like this happen but this time it didn’t. We have been working thank the Lord, a lot of my family in other areas not as fortunate.
