this was Jasmine last night with another yearling Tiva. I have had listeria this year in fact poor little Fleur has a permanent head tilt. though I'm hopeful since she was 6 months old when she got it that her brain May reroute itself.

Any chicks under a week?

I have chicks hatching every day. I'm loaded up. 3 broody hens and a Sportsman incubator and a Sportsman hatcher.

I haven't fired up my homemade cabinet since an old friend sold me these ancient sportsmen. I have a third (incubator) that doesn't heat and I have parts to repair it but haven't had time.

Wow Dax! so cool! oh dang, I didnt tell you did I, I purchased a Nubian! yes, and with my luck we delt with polio for a few months with her~! ugh my bottle baby pain in the bum.... jupiter aka ears aka legs she was so sick, I thought we would loose her, I slept down here with her on an air mattress for a few weeks caring for her. Vet said when she had cocci her rumen got disrupted and she had issues with thiamine absorption. she was my little needle cushion up until last week

You have some lovelys for sure, I wont do shows. I know too many who had sick goats from them, plus I dont like people ha ha ha

well, polio and listeria are sister conditions in a way they definitely turn them into pincushions she was getting multiple shots multiple times a day for weeks.
she is beautiful with lovely color and ears. you need to get some dimethox powder and keep it in their milk everyday to prevent that coccidia. hi mix half a package to a gallon of water and add a tablespoon a day to the milk

@Sally Sunshine as to the incubating it takes time and equipment not to mention some skill and I have none of that

I swear I’ve tried. Elevated cages, putting them on the roost, and ice packs. It never stops them more than two days. I’m just getting chicks.
