I've used the cages successfully on Orpingtons, Leghorns, Rocks, Ameraucanas and Penedesencas. It has always taken no more than 3 or 4 days.

that is what I did with a couple of Rudy's that wouldn't give up, but were totally unsuccessful. I got half a dozen ba chicks for them both and sent them underneath them those are the only chicks I could find that had just hatched. it worked out well, but they're not as pretty as my reds.

She was on oral dimethox but I assume the preventative didnt work as well on her as the ND kids. She started off weak as well, I sent her back home an hour after I purchased her at 3 days old, she had a fever and lethargic, she treated her for two weeks then I picked her up again... So I dont think having the injections at such a small age, of antibiotics did her rumen and system much good thereafter. But she pulled through and she gets a oral dimethox every Sunday from here on out, at least for another two months or cold weather. She also has a head tilt, perhaps she did have what yours did!

@daxigait still no change in the eye, this is the second day of full treatment, she is about to get her shot and gel soon. If no improvement in another day or so I will ask for draxin
