EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

IF your thermometer is accurate, 102 is too high. Which is likely why they are hatching a day early. 99.5F\37.5C is correct for most species, especially chickens.

Thanks I turned the heat down to 99.5 and the humidity has been lietarlly leveling from 60s to mid 40s.Some peeping from the other two chciks but neither have came out, and haven’t seen nor hear much action from one of the cracked eggs in awhile and it is the MOST cracked.I’m gunna wait to see what’s going on in the morning and hopefully I have more chicks and these two guys are healthy and hatch just fine.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, @ChickenCanoe
