EE 2.5 weeks old, rooster?

He/she came with 4 other chickens who are feathering up nicely, started developing tail feathers and dont have any comb. We purchased them all sexed so i want to believe its a female but it doesn't look like the others. The dark one is the one in question, the other lighter one is for comparison (all same age/batch).

It could be a cockerel, but 2 weeks is a little early to start sexing. Usually at 5-8 weeks combs start turning red on a rooster.

I thought it might just be a late bloomer too but wasn't sure.

If all the same age put them all side by side and see which ones have the larger feet. The males tend to have bigger feet. I have some chicks and this is what I use to sex them sometimes.
