EE and Welsummer

I am looking to fill my last spot in the flock order. Want to know from owners who they think lays better. Easter egger or welsummer.

Thanks
Probably an Easter Egger, they lay around 200 eggs a year as compared to the welsummer who lays about 150-160. Welsummers also tend to be a lot more independent and like to be left alone, but with my experience with Easter Eggers they’re a lot more docile.

My 2 cents, based on temperament alone, my two Welsummer hens are mean, flighty, aggressive, and have attacked my hands since day one (they are 3 weeks old now). I’ve been told that’s typical rooster behavior but since I’m new to this I have no idea if that will hold true or not. When they are older I will start a thread in the “what breed or gender is this?”

My “Americana” aka Easter Egger is as sweet as sweet can be, calm, docile, and will probably be picked on by the Welsummers when they are all grown up. Funnily enough I think my EE is crossed with a Welsummer, so I’m expecting dark eggs from her. Hopefully green!
