EE babies.... Take a look please and tell me if I'm right on the genders.

Do you think Pullet 1 is a roo or a pullet?

Ok, so I got some EE chicks, they are a month old now (as of yesterday). I took pics of all of them, but I am iffy about one of them.

This is Mr. Biggs (roo)

This is Nugget (roo)

This is what I call pullet 1 for now. I am seeing some red coming in on her/his wings. She/he is the one I'm iffy about right now. But she/he is feathering nicer than the boys......Let me know what you think. Pullet or Cockerel?

Here's pullet 2

Pullet 3

And last but not least.....This is Weeble, pullet 4. She is literally half the size of all the others.

Here are a few extras of Weeble and Mr. Biggs just to show how little she is. It's funny.

So, do you guys think I have it right?

Good luck, I've been posting my 2 for 6 weeks now and still unsure, I'd say the first is coloring in as a roo but way too early to tell, each week the color and patterns change on these chicks, so 50/50 you have a roo

I think your guesses are right on target. Weeble is so cute! I think she's a failure to thrive who actually made it. That's unusual and a sign of a very attentive owner.

x2 or she maybe a bantam wont know till she matures though

These are so interesting! I have what I believe are EE's but have no clue. I 'ordered' Ameraucanas.. hmph. What did *I* know then? They are a bit over a year old now (hatched May/11) I had a failure to thrive, tiny girl, which I named Chocolate. She was an obvious "runt" and quite docile... she had heat stroke a couple of weeks ago, and after nursing her about a week, I realized her problems were too big to surmount. :-( Very sad for me, and I feel a bit detached form my other five hens, for now.

Thank you Pele! I did have another one that was tiny like her, but unfortunately she didn't make it. She only lasted two days. I did everything I could to keep them healthy, and from getting run over by the bigger ones. I even had them sleeping in my bedroom for a bit. LOL! Hubby just loved that! I put both of them in their own little box inside the brooder, but I guess she was just too weak. I did hold her while she was dying though, because I didn't want her to feel all alone. I also brought one home that I tried desperately to nurse back to health, after being dropped on the concrete floor (not by me), but she didn't make it either. It's very sad when the babies don't make it.

But I guess that what happens when you live in the chicken world.......
