I have searched through this thread for similar questions and didn't locate them, so forgive me if I'm repeating, but....

I have an EE about a year old. She used to lay beautiful blue eggs. We moved and, like most chickens, she went through an adjustment period with no eggs for a little while. At the new place, the chickens sometimes laid in the coop, sometimes laid in the bushes outside the coop (which took me a while to find). But I never saw a blue egg. So I assumed she found a super secret spot, and the dogs were eating them.

Now, I have my new permanent coop built and have locked the girls in for 3 weeks so they start calling it home. I have 6 layers in there, and get 5-6 eggs a day right now (middle of summer). But oddly, I NEVER get a blue egg. She is in there, the math says she must be laying, but what happened to the blue eggs? She's eating the same food and getting plenty of water.

I would really appreciate any insight. Thank you!

Could you possible take 3 daily pics of all eggs your collect each day (for 3 days) and post the pics.

Sure, here are yesterday's (first pic) and fridays (third pic). I just put thursdays (second pic) in with another few to make a dozen so not sure which is which, but every egg pictured is no more than a week old and they have all been inside the coop for at least that long.

I guess she may not be. I've gotten 4-5 eggs a day from 6 hens, so I thought for sure she must have been in there, but to be honest, I've never seen her in the nest. I'm not home during the day, so I just thought it was a coincidence, but maybe not. I'll try to find some pics.

This is the EE in question.

The egg I previously collected from her, which was very obviously blue. I also have a giant cochin hen, a speckled sussex, and one other Swedish (not in the first pic) but I don't seem to have images of them on this computer right now.

EDIT: The last blue egg I got was probably mid-winter or before - I've seen none since. That seems like a really long time to me. I've been chickening for 5 years and that is probably the longest I've ever seen a chicken go without laying.
